The latest byword in today’s business world, crowdfunding, frog leaps the traditional money sources such as banks and established lenders and helps startups to concentrate on improving their products or services instead of exhausting their efforts on pitching their proposals to potential backers.

This is what The Spark Project (TSP) is all about and it is the only Philippine-based crowdfunding platform for creative and social enterprises.  Spark Fest 2019 showed how a formidable support network can be provided using the Web to gather influential thought leaders and top industry movers to share their insights on various aspects of entrepreneurship for the benefit of budding businesses and their consumers.

Spark Fest, now on its 3rd year, included its newest feature – the Spark Tank, where participants were able to pitch and consult their ideas face-to-face with successful entrepreneurs who have been through the experiences of mounting startup businesses. Included in its impressive line-up of speakers were:  TV personality, author, and vlogger Bianca Gonzales-Intal;  host & former child star RJ Ledesma of Mercato Centrale;  Gina Romero of Connected Women;  Trish Lim of Woven Craft PH;  Christian San Jose of CSJ and Co.;  Sherill Quintana of Oryspa Solutions;  Anya Lim of ANTHILL Fabric Gallery and  Instagram sensation @pereastreet.
