Just a week ago, I joined fellow bloggers for a whole day exclusive tour at the country’s most luxurious resort, the Tagaytay Highlands. It was my second visit but this time will be different as we were able to see and indulge to experience Tagaytay Highlands world-class amenities and recreational facilities like Asia’s most exciting 18-hole Tagaytay Highlands Golf Course and 27-hole Tagaytay Midlands Golf Courses and to top it all, the side visit to mountain resort residential community with themed residential developments from Highlands, Midlands and Greenlands .
This exclusive, members-only club facility in now a township. Sprawled over hilly terrain right in the heart of Tagaytay, the highlands offers gorgeous vistas of Taal Lake and Volcano, the mystic Mt. Makiling, Canlubang Valley, and Laguna de bay.
We are billeted at The Spa and Lodge and treated with a sumptuous breakfast by our amiable hosts led by Belle Corp’s AVP for Marketing Mabe De Goitia and Tagaytay Highlands Marketing Communications Director Phillip Medina.
Our tour started at the Tagaytay Highlands Woodland Points. Along the way to Woodland Points are verdant mountains and a wide gate welcome us in. Woodlands Point is a community of charming, contemporary ski resort-inspired log cabins that share the landscape with pine forests and lush mountain ranges.
Woodlands Point
If you’re after rustic charm and vibe, the log cabins of Woodlands Point, which feature western red cedar accents and elegant detailing of glass and stone. Because it is nestled in one of the highest elevations in Tagaytay, it has awe-inspiring views of the Highlands gold course, Laguna de Bay, the Canlubang countryside, and the verdant mountains.

Finally, to cap our whole day tour we have a superb fine dining experience at Highlander Steakhouse, a rustic log cabin.
