The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board has accredited Hype Transport Systems Inc., a TNVS company since Uber’s exit giving commuters more choices for travel.
Similar to Grab, Hype offers a Hype Taxi, Hype Sedan, Hype SUV, Hype AUV and Hype Pool. Riders have the option to book them through text messages free of charge. “HYPE is not just all hype since it exists to live up to its values of Honest, Young, Professional and Enabling drivers” added Jennifer Silan, COO of Hype Transport Systems Inc.
John Codorniz Jr., Chief Technology Officer of Hype Transport Systems Inc., said that the HYPE app is ready for downloading on May 19 via Google Play for Android phones and App Store for IOS phones; but the public can use the app on May 28 right after its grand launch.
The car service takes pride in a very low flat rate at Php40 as compared to its current dominant TNVS. Also the riding public can now either pay cash, online, point-of-sales (POS) and QR codes. The company emphasized that their service will be strict on cancellations, which they would they are considering of charging Php50 for cancelled trips.
Hype takes pride of being the first Filipino owned TNVS that will provide quality service in the metro and soon to major cities in the country.
